Two women, twenty-three years deep into a love story that has survived every plot twist the universe could throw at them, have always shared one very specific dream:  A sanctuary for the small, the elderly and the delightfully lumpy dogs of the world.

Their friends say they were destined for this life from the moment they met – one with a pocket full of dog treats “just in case”, the other with a sixth sense for spotting a senior Chihuahua from three blocks away.

Over the years, they’ve collected memories the way some people collect stamps: road trips, with snoring pups in the backseat, late-night rescue missions, and more tiny sweaters than any two humans should reasonably own.

Now, after more than two decades of partnership, mischief and mutual dog-obsession, they’re finally bringing their vision to life.  Their sanctuary is a haven where greying muzzles are celebrated, naps are a competitive sport and every dog – no matter how wobbly, toothless, or opinionated – gets to be adored like the royalty they are.

Together they’ve built a place where love has wrinkles, wisdom weighs under twenty pounds and happily ever after comes with a wagging tail.
