We envision a compassionate and equitable future in which small breed senior dogs, including those with chronic and complex medical needs, are no longer marginalized within animal welfare systems. In this future, aging dogs receive consistent access to appropriate medical care, individualized support, and safe, nurturing environments that prioritize dignity and quality of life. Through education, advocacy, and community engagement, our work contributes to systemic change in how senior and medically fragile dogs are valued, ensuring they are protected and cared for throughout their remaining years.
